Color, pattern, and simple shapes are what matter most to me—colors that vie for space, clashing and repelling one another yet somehow blending together. Colors that \"shouldn't go together\" transform into something soothing. I am always drawn to combining peaceful, cozy subjects with loud patterns and colors. I draw inspiration from artists like Matisse and Frida Kahlo.
