Surreal Pool Fun - Natascha Baumgärtner

Seen from below, a tiled swimming pool tilts and curves like a dream, crowded with swimmers drifting in every direction. At the centre a woman in a red swimsuit and sunglasses reaches upwards, while others dive, float on a rubber ring or kick their yellow flippers. Fish, a crab, a pink octopus, a shark, a football, a banana and a slice of pizza drift among them in brilliant turquoise water.

Created by Berlin-based digital illustrator Natascha Baumgärtner, whose expressive, painterly scenes turn the leftovers of everyday life into vivid, slightly surreal moments. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
