Vanity - Kaiser

VANITY is painted in red capitals across the top of a dark, gold-flecked border. Inside, a white gallery room shows framed portraits of Marilyn Monroe: one in a billowing yellow dress against black and white zebra stripes, one in pop art pink and blue, and two small ones on the side walls. In the middle a young woman with long braids in a tight red dress takes a mirror selfie.

Collaged and painted over, with the gallery scene set inside a hand-painted frame. Kaiser works in collage and pop art, with fragmentation, duality and social commentary as recurring themes. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
