Lucifer (my view) - ZhanSnow

A figure rests its chin on crossed bare arms and looks out from under a heavy mass of auburn curls that lifts and spreads to both sides. Only one eye is visible, narrowed and sharp, with a single tear below it, and the whole figure is set against a flat sky-blue ground with nothing else in the picture.

Painted in oil, the hair worked in long curling strokes against the smooth flat blue behind it. Zhan Snow is a Kazakh artist based in London, who works mainly in oils and explores emotion, nature and imagined worlds through expressive colour and dreamlike imagery. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
