Traces of Wind - Anna Dormir

Translucent veils of grey and warm taupe sweep up across a white ground, folding over one another like fabric caught in a draught. The ink pools darker along the edges and thins to almost nothing at the top, and a fine dusting of sparkle runs through the deeper passages.

Painted in liquid alcohol ink on a smooth white ground, where the colour spreads in translucent layers and dries with hard, feathered edges. Anna Dormir is a contemporary abstract artist based in Barcelona, who works mainly with liquid inks and in large formats to explore colour, form and movement. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
