Unusual Landscape - Priit Ruttas

Fine black pen covers the whole sheet in an even field of short vertical and horizontal strokes, darkening towards the right edge. A band across the middle thins out into something like a horizon, and small forms rise and settle in the density without ever closing into objects.

Drawn in pen, built up from thousands of short overlapping strokes so the image appears out of the density of the line. Priit Ruttas draws to find new space, levels and dimensions in a picture, so that the eye keeps discovering something further each time it looks. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
