BEL-M - Kareem Rizk

Painted bands run across the sheet — yellow, teal, pink, red, blue — with a large yellow disc rising out of the teal like a sun. Across the middle, the chunky shadowed letters BEL-M are left from an old hand-painted sign, their edges chipped back to the board. Red and pink curves sweep through the lower half, worn and flaking.

Built from cut and torn paper, reproduced here at high resolution. Kareem Rizk is an Australian collage and mixed media artist living and working in Denmark, with a background in graphic design and an affinity for typography and re-purposed printed ephemera. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
